Acupuncture – Acupuncture is the practice of inserting thin needles into specific body points to improve health and well being. It originated in China more than 2,000 years ago. American practices of acupuncture use medical traditions from China, Japan, Korea and other countries. Advanced medical research has determined that stimulation of acupuncture points produces definite physiological reactions in the body such as changes in heart rate, blood pressure, intestinal activity and blood chemistry.
Herbal Medicine – Herbal Medicine has a long history of practice in the Orient. It is used as the natural alternative to chemical-based medications preferred by Western Medicine. A typical prescription usually consists of 5 – 15 different herbs and can be taken in the form of tea or pills as well as poultices and tincture. These herbs nourish and repair the body’s organs. They are all natural and have no side effects.
Chinese Massage (Tui-Na) – Dr. Zee Lo also practices Tui-Na, this is good for stress relief, muscle tension, sports massage, arthritis and poor circulation.
